Insignia College offers Single Engine Instrument Rating course in Delta BC. The Single Engine Instrument Rating (Group3) allows a pilot to fly a single engine aircraft during Instrument Flight Rules. This program provides benefit to private pilot license holder to fly aircraft according to references given by flight instruments
40 hours of instrument time (Instrument time previously logged for the PPL, night rating or CPL could count toward this minimum time.) 20 hours can be on a simulator.
A dual cross country of at least 100 nautical miles, under simulated or actual IFR conditions, must be completed.
A Transport Canada Written and Flight Test must be completed.
50 hours PIC cross country.
Note: All rates for this Single Engine Instrument Rating course are the same for domestic and international students.
Flight Training cost is based on Transport Canada Minimum on the Cessna 172 Skyhawk Plane. If any student exceeds these requirements due to their performance, the student will pay extra for any additional training. Any additional training will be charged at the same hourly rates as mentioned above. Pricing is subject to change.
Fuel surcharges will apply on top of these hourly rates. Taxes are applied where applicable.
Training is at the student’s pace and convenience and can start any time. Single Engine Instrument Rating course will take 16 weeks to finish the endorsement in Delta, BC
